HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 9, 2015) – The Stevens Institute of Technology field hockey team (7-5) travels to Nazareth College and Ithaca College this weekend for back-to-back Empire 8 Conference matchups.
WEEKEND INFOThe Ducks battle Naz Saturday at noon, followed by a 1 p.m. Sunday match with Ithaca.
LAST TIME OUTFacing their third nationally ranked opponent of the season, the Ducks fell to No. 19 SUNY-New Paltz, 4-1 in a Wednesday road game.
SCOUTING REPORTLed by nine goals from Catherine Willard, the Golden Flyers enter the weekend with a 4-7 record, and in a tie for fifth place in the E8.
With a 7-3 record, Ithaca is in second place in the E8, and is led in scoring by Colleen Keegan-Twonbly.

Victoria Alvarez lead the Ducks with 19 and 18 points respectively, while junior
Nolie Prouty has four goals and a team-leading seven assists.
HISTORY LESSONThe Ducks are undefeated against Naz (9-0) since 2007, outscoring them 31-10 in the process. Stevens enjoyed its most lopsided victory in the series last season with a 6-0 win.
Since dropping the first ever E8 matchup in 2007, the Ducks have won nine straight against the Bombers including a 3-2 victory last fall.
FINAL COUNTDOWNBrook needs one more goal to move into sole possession of the program's all-time scoring record.
WELL ROUNDEDWith an assist Wednesday, Prouty has 10 goals, 20 assists, and 40 points for her career.
LEADING THE EMPIREEntering play on Friday, the Ducks lead the E8 in goals (28), and points (75).

Emily Stukenborg tallied a season-high 14 saves in Wednesday's game against New Paltz. Already the program's all-time saves leader, Stukenborg needs 37 saves to reach 400 for her career.
