HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 9, 2015) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team (8-1-2) hits the road this weekend for a crucial Empire 8 Conference matchup with Alfred University.

LAST TIME OUT
Seniors Colin Phillips and Carson Pryor each tallied a goal in the second half Wednesday, leading the Ducks to a 2-0 road-win over Manhattanville College.

SCOUTING REPORT
Armed with an 8-1-2 record of its own, Alfred enters this weekend in a tie for first place in the E8 with Houghton College. Richard Lander and Oumar Soumahoro lead the Saxons with eight goals each, while Christopher Gutierrez is unbeaten in goal.

MEET THE DUCKS
Pryor leads the Ducks with 10 goals and 20 points, while Phillips has tallied six goals and four assists. Senior Harrison Kane and sophomores Patrick Boylan and Tommy Dorsay anchor a Ducks backline that's given up just eight goals all season.

RECENT HISTORY
The Ducks blanked Alfred 4-0 during the regular season last fall, before advancing in penalty kicks in the E8 championship semifinal.  

D IS KEY
The Ducks are unbeaten in their last eight matches, allowing just four goals in the process. The defense is currently riding a streak of 209 consecutive minutes without allowing a goal, and leads the E8 in fewest goals against. 

RENNA REPORT
Junior Mike Renna made two saves Wednesday to record his fifth shutout of the season, and 15th of his career. The starting keeper sits six saves shy of 100 for his career.
