HOBOKEN, N.J. (November 17, 2015) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's basketball team will look to make it two-straight wins Wednesday when it hosts Kean University in the 2015-16 home opener.
GAME INFOTip-off is set for 7 p.m. at Canavan Arena.
LAST TIME OUTThe Ducks bounced-back from a season-opening loss to beat Bryn Athyn College, 92-73 Sunday in the consolation game of the Scranton Tip-Off. Junior 
Patrick Barron led all scorers with 30 points, while senior 
Alex Lorenz chipped-in with 18 points and nine rebounds.
SCOUTING REPORTLed by Tommy Soulias' 27.5 points per game, Kean is seeking its first win this season after losses to Marymount University, and Baruch College. 
FAMILIAR FOEThe Ducks have beaten Kean six of the last seven seasons, including a 66-65 road-win last year. 
BREAK THE STREAKStevens is looking for its first home-opening win since beating Rutgers University-Newark in 2012.
THE DUCKS BARRONBarron is leading the Ducks in scoring after 27 and 30 point performances last weekend. Barron's efforts were rewarded Monday when he was named the Empire 8 Conference's Player of the Week.
BACK IN QUACKAfter missing the 2014-15 season due to injury, junior 
Evan Klimchak has rebounded in a big way so far for the Ducks, averaging 22 points, five rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game. 
MEN IN THE MIDDLELorenz and freshman 
Ryan Coffey combined are averaging nine rebounds per game after the Ducks opening weekend. The veteran-freshman duo rank fourth and sixth in the E8 respectively in that category.
