Men’s Basketball Looks To Bounce-Back At Brooklyn

HOBOKEN, N.J. (December 1, 2015) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's basketball team will continue its six game road-swing Wednesday when it travels to Brooklyn College.

GAME INFO
Tip is set for 7:15 p.m. at the West Quad Center in Brooklyn.

LAST TIME OUT
Despite a career-high 15 points from freshman Kevin Florio, the Ducks saw their four game win streak snapped Sunday in a 95-70 loss to Rutgers University-Newark.

SCOUTING REPORT
Brooklyn brings an unbeaten 6-0 record into Wednesday's game, all of which have come by double-digits. Egzon Gjonbalaj leads the Bulldogs in both scoring at 19.7 points per game, and rebounding at 8.3 boards per game.

STAYING LOCAL
Wednesday's game will be the fourth of the season for the Ducks against an opponent located in the greater New York metropolitan area, where they've gone 3-1.

DYNAMIC DUO
Juniors Evan Klimchak and Patrick Barron are tied for the team-lead at 22.5 points per game, making them the highest scoring duo in the Empire 8 Conference.

TRIPLE DUCKS
Led by 64 from Barron, the Ducks lead the E8 in made three point field goals.

ACCURATE ALEX
In addition to leading the Ducks in rebounding, senior Alex Lorenz leads the Ducks in shooting at 57 percent.

REINFORCEMENTS
Florio, senior Kevin Zychowski, junior Thomas Ahern, and sophomore Thomas Cook combined are contributing over 16 points per game off the Ducks bench, and are the only non-starters to appear in every game.
