Men’s Fencing Goes 5-0 In Canavan

HOBOKEN, N.J. (February 8, 2015) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's fencing team went 5-0 Sunday in its annual MACFA group "B" round robin at Canavan Arena.  
 
The Ducks defeated The College of New Jersey 22-5, Yeshiva University 23-4, Army 17-10, New Jersey Institute of Technology 16-11, and Hunter College 27-0.
 
Freshman Michael Watson led the Ducks at sabre with a 10-1 day, while freshman Jeffrey Paine finished 8-1.
 
In epee, junior Christopher Moakler and junior Steven Dazo each went 5-0 with senior Jorge Rojas and junior Daniel Tracey going 11-0 and 6-1 respectively in foil.  
 
The Ducks will return to the strips next Sunday where they'll compete in the MACFA "Group A vs Group B" round robin in Ewing, N.J.
