Men’s Soccer Hosts Muhlenberg In Nationally-Ranked Battle

HOBOKEN, N.J. (September 11, 2015) – The No. 21 Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team returns to Hoboken Saturday for a clash against No. 15 Muhlenberg College.

MATCH INFO
Match time is set for 7 p.m. at the De Baun Athletic Complex in Hoboken.

POLL POSITION
The Ducks are 4-0-0 in their last four regular season matches against ranked opponents. The Mules are the first ranked team to come to Hoboken since Swarthmore College in 2013.

HOME AND HOME
Saturday's meeting will be the second in as many years between the two teams after Muhlenberg took the 1-0 win last fall in Allentown. Prior to that, both teams met in the 2010 NCAA Tournament.

THREES COMPANY
Senior Colin Phillips recorded his first career hat-trick opening night against Yeshiva University, before senior Carson Pryor tallied one of his own in game two against Haverford College.

HOME COOKIN'
The Ducks have won nine consecutive home matches going into Saturday, outscoring opponents 29-3 in the process.

LUCKY 70
Junior goalie Mike Renna recorded his 70th career save Wednesday night against The College of New Jersey, while head coach Devin Rensing is one win shy of 70 for his career.
