Nolie Prouty recorded career-highs with two goals and seven points to lead the Ducks to a 6-0 win over The College at Brockport.
The win evened Stevens' record at 2-2, while Brockport fell to 0-5.
Sophomore

The Ducks wasted no time gaining the early lead with Alvarez's goal in the second minute off a pass from Prouty. Stevens continued its pressure with shots on goal over the next 12 minutes before being rewarded with a pair of goals midway through the half.
Prouty started the burst with an unassisted score during the 16th minute, before assisting on another less than a minute later with a pass to Alvarez. The score was the fourth of the season for Alvarez.
Stevens' defense went to work from there, successfully stopping a pair of Brockport threats and allowing the offense to pad the lead with a goal from Prouty in 21st minute. With no one in front of her, Prouty fired a point black shot from 10 yards out that flew past the goalie.
The lead held up for the Ducks for the remainder of the first half before Welch added to it early in the second with a score off a feed from Prouty. Sophomore
Emma Chick chipped-in a minute later with her first career-goal, giving the Ducks an insurmountable 6-0 lead.
Brockport as able to mount some resistance with shot on goal in the 57th minute, however Stukenborg easily made the stop to preserve the shutout for the Ducks.
The Ducks will return to the field Thursday when they travel to Fairleigh Dickson University–Florham for a 6 p.m. game.
