Field Hockey Continues Road Schedule Thursday

HOBOKEN, N.J. (September 16, 2015) – The Stevens Institute of Technology field hockey team will look to build on Sunday's win Thursday when it travels to Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham for a non-conference game.

Game time is set for 6 p.m. at Robert T. Shields Field in Madison.

LAST TIME OUT
Junior Nolie Prouty set career-highs with two goals, three assists, and seven points to lead the Ducks (2-2) to a 6-0 win over The College at Brockport Sunday in Hoboken.

SCOUTING REPORT
FDU won its first three matches of the season, including a 2-1 win over then No. 20 Rowan University, but has stumbled since with two losses in-a-row. Kim Davis leads the Devils with four goals and 10 points, while goalie Amy Defnet has recorded 39 saves.

BALANCED ATTACK
Four different Ducks have tallied at least two goals so far this season, led by sophomore Victoria Alvarez's four. Prouty, senior Dailyn Brook, and junior Taylor Welch have each tallied two scores, while Prouty leads the team with three assists.

STONEWALL STUKENBORG
Junior goalie Emily Stukenborg made two saves Sunday to record her first shutout of the 2015 season. Stukenborg is the only goalie in the history of the program to have more than 300 career saves.

JERSEY TOUR
FDU is one of seven New Jersey teams the Ducks have on their schedule this season. Stevens is 1-1 in such games so far, with matchups against Kean University, Montclair State University, Rowan University, and William Paterson University still remaining.
