Field Hockey Returns Home Tuesday Against Cabrini

HOBOKEN, N.J. (September 21, 2015) – The Stevens Institute of Technology field hockey team is looking to make it four straight wins Tuesday when it hosts Cabrini College in non-conference action. 

GAME INFO
Game time is set for 5 p.m. at the De Baun Athletic Complex in Hoboken.

LAST TIME OUT
The Ducks (4-2) jumped out to a 2-0 lead Saturday at Houghton College before holding on for the 2-1 win. Junior Taylor Welch and senior Dailyn Brook each scored one of the Stevens goals, while junior Nolie Prouty tallied the assist.

FAMILIAR FOE
Tuesday's matchup will be the fourth in as many seasons between Stevens and Cabrini, with the Ducks holding the 2-1 edge.

SCOUTING REPORT
Cabrini brings a 2-3 record into Hoboken, and is coming off a 4-0 win over Widener this past Friday. The Cavaliers have featured a balance attack so far this season with three different players scoring at least two goals.

MEET THE DUCKS
Sophomore Victoria Alvarez, Welch, and Brook have been the primary goal scorers for the Ducks, while Prouty leads the team with five assists. In goal, junior Emily Stukenborg has 29 saves and a 1.90 goals against average. 

CONFERENCE LEADERS
Heading into play on Monday, the Ducks lead the Empire 8 Conference in shots, shots on goal, points, goals, and assists.

MILESTONE TRACKER
Brook needs two goals to reach 50 her career, while Welch needs four scores to hit 20.
