HOBOKEN, N.J. (September 8, 2015) – The No. 21 Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team will look to continue its undefeated start Wednesday when it travels to the College of New Jersey for the first road match of the season.
FAMILIAR FOEThe Ducks are unbeaten in their last nine matches against TCNJ, including a 2-0 win last season in Hoboken. The teams have squared-off in each of the last 14 seasons.
THREES COMPANYSeniors
Colin Phillips and
Carson Pryor have each recorded hat-tricks this season in wins over Yeshiva University and Haverford College respectively. For Pryor, the three goal performance was the second of this career.
ROAD WARRIORSStevens is unbeaten in its last six road regular season matches, outscoring opponents 13-3 in the process.
FAST STARTWith a win on Wednesday, the Ducks would have their sixth 3-0 start in the last 10 seasons.
SHOOTING STARSStevens has out-shot its opponents 39-14 over the first two matches, including a 14-8 advantage in shots on goal. Pryor leads the Ducks with 16, while Phillips is second on the team with six.
