HOBOKEN, N.J. (January 21, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's basketball team begins a three-game homestand Friday when they take on Nazareth College.

LAST GAMEThe Ducks (10-5, 6-0 Empire 8 Conference) fell in its last non-conference game to No. 9/11 Muhlenberg College 74-54 Monday night. The team ended 4-5 in non-Empire 8 action.
SYD THE KIDSophomore
Sydney Darby was the top scorer Monday night, going for 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting. Darby went 5-of-6 from behind the arc, while also grabbing six rebounds.
DAPH ON 'EMOver the last three games, junior
Daphne Ginn averaging just over seven points per game and has hit at least two three pointers in each game.
SCOUTING NAZThe Golden Flyers come into the game with an 11-4 overall record, and are 4-2 in conference play. Naz boasts three players in double-figures scoring, led by Lindsey Kelly's 18.5 points and 9.8 rebounds per game.
DEFENSE FIRSTThe matchup features the top two teams in scoring defense in the E8, with Stevens allowing just 55.5 points per game and Naz with 57.7.

Megan Brown is near the top of the E8 in several categories. Brown is third in rebounding (8.8), seventh in assists (2.7), fifth in blocks (1.2) and fourth in steals (2.1).
