HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 21, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team will look to stay near the top of the Empire 8 standings Saturday when it hosts Alfred for senior day. 

MATCH INFO
Match time is set for noon at the De Baun Athletic Complex in Hoboken.

LAST TIME OUT
Stevens saw its three-match win streak snapped Tuesday night in a 3-1 loss to No. 7 Rutgers-Newark.

SCOUTING REPORT
At 7-6-2, Alfred sits 1-2-2 in the E8 as it's currently on the outside looking in at the E8 Championship field. Richard Lander leads the Saxons with five goals, while Chris Gutierrez has played every minute in goal.

SENIOR SALUTE
Stevens will honor seniors Jay Mikula, Patrick Masur, Mike Flinn, Nick DeFelice, and Gerald Lamina prior to Saturday's game.

WHERE THEY STAND    
Stevens enters the weekend in a tie for second place in the E8 with Ithaca, while Houghton sits in first with a 4-0-1 mark.

MAKE IT 11
Sophomore Andrew Masur became the 11th different Duck to score Tuesday night as the team continued its trend of balanced scoring. 

NUMBER TWO
Stevens enters the weekend as the second highest scoring team in the E8 behind Houghton. Masur, sophomore Daniel Aversano, and junior Tommy Dorsay have combined for 13 of Stevens' 22 goals.

WELCOME BACK
Rejoining Stevens' keeper core this week was senior Mike Renna who served as Stevens' starting goalie the past two seasons.
