Men’s Soccer Host Berkeley In Home Finale

HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 25, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team will play its final regular-season home match of the fall Wednesday when its hosts Berkeley in non-conference action. 

MATCH INFO
Match time is set for 7 p.m. at the De Baun Athletic Complex in Hoboken. 

LAST TIME OUT
Senior Tommy Dorsay and sophomore Andrew Masur each scored Saturday in a 2-1 Empire 8 win over Alfred.

SCOUTING REPORT
Berkeley enters the week 5-10-1 off a 6-0 loss to New Rochelle this weekend. Ali Dawha has served as the team's top scorer with 18 goals, while Osvin Videz Vasquez has seen the bulk of the time in net with a 3.93 goals against average. 

DRIVER'S SEAT
With Saturday's win over Alfred, Stevens controls its own destiny in regards to next weekend's E8 Championship. A win over Houghton means the Ducks will get the No. 1 seed and host.

CLUB FIVE
Senior Patrick Masur and Dorsay lead the Ducks offense with five goals each, which accounts for nearly half of the team's goals this season.

HIGH POWERED
Stevens owns the second best scoring average in the E8 at 1.6 goals per game. Only Houghton is better at 2.4 goals per game. 

NICE TO MEET YOU
Wednesday will be the first ever meeting between Stevens and Berkeley.
