HOBOKEN, N.J. (OCTOBER 4, 2016) – After picking up three wins over the weekend, the Stevens Institute of Technology women's volleyball team hosts Vassar Wednesday.

First serve between the Ducks and Brewers is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Baun Athletic Complex.
WEEKEND RECAP
Despite falling to Union in a hearbreaking five set contest, the Ducks rebounded with three straight victories. The three wins pushed the team to 18-2, and sit 4-0 in the Empire 8 Conference.

After Wednesday's match, the Ducks will only have two home dates left (the Stevens Invitational) on October 14 and 15th.

Sara Hain have combined for 114 blocks and 198 kills so far in 2016.
VASSAR REPORT
Vassar comes into the game with a 14-6 overall record, led by Jane McLeod who has 228 kills. In fact, the Brewers have four players with 100 or more kills.
SENIOR SENDOFF
Prior to the match, the team will honor the four seniors for senior night. The four seniors being honored are; Kristen Macdonald,
Becca Youngman,
Christina Sciarra and
Mary Tobin.

The Ducks are averaging 2.5 aces per set in 2016, and have out-aced their opponents 160-56 this year so far.
WEEKEND UPDATE
Stevens went 3-1 at the Utica Tournament, falling for the first time since facing Cal-Lutheran on the second day of the season.

Mary Tobin were chosen to the All-Tournament team at the conclusion of the Utica Tournament.

Julie Greco returned to the court against Utica, handing out four assists while notching five digs.
STRONG SHOWING
Freshman
Taleen Mitchell appeared in both matches on Saturday, tallying 12 kills and 10 digs over the six sets. Against Potsdam, Mitchell pounded home seven kills to go along with six digs.
