MADISON, N.J. (November 22, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's basketball team fell 62-60 Tuesday night in a back-and-forth tilt against FDU-Florham in Madison.
The loss evened Stevens' record at 1-1, while FDU moved to 2-2.
Senior

Klimchak brought the Ducks back to within two off a layup with 36 ticks to go, but two straight misses followed by a charging call on sophomore

Chris Cosgrove scored eight with three boards. Barron finished with seven points, and Klimchak went for four points, four rebounds and four assists.
Defensively Stevens held FDU to just 36 percent shooting, including a 16 percent clip from beyond the arc.
The Devils built a 10-point lead midway through the first and again with 5:35 left on the clock, but an 11-2 Stevens run capped by a layup from junior
Jake Krantz sliced the lead to three with three to go.
FDU responded with four straight to rebuild the lead to seven, before a 10-2 Stevens run to end the half put the Ducks up one heading into the break.
Stevens held the largest lead for any side in the second at five off a three from Coffey with 7:35 remaining, but FDU was able to grab the lead back for good with just over three minutes to go.
Stevens will be back in action Sunday when it opens its home schedule against Rutgers-Newark at 2 p.m.
