HOBOKEN, N.J. (April 8, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's lacrosse team scored 10 first quarter goals en route to a 22-0 victory over Houghton College Saturday.

The Ducks moved to 9-3 overall and 2-1 in the Empire 8 Conference, while Houghton fell to 2-8, 0-4 in the E8.

Stevens tallied the first marker 3:17 into the game, as senior Colin Sawula scored on a feed from junior Connor Towne. The senior duo of Andrew Scrutchfield and Matt Ferentini scored 37 seconds apart to extend the lead to three, and junior Tim Leahey netted two straight tallies to push the gap to five. Four other Ducks would add goals before Leahey capped off his hat trick with 12 seconds left in the first.
