HOBOKEN, N.J. (September 16, 2016) – After going 5-0 to open the season, the No. 8 Stevens Institute of Technology women's soccer team heads to Hartwick on Saturday.

It took nearly two overtimes, but the Ducks topped NYU 3-2 thanks to a goal from sophomore

HARTWICK REPORT
The Hawks enter the match with a 4-1 record, the lone loss a 3-1 setback at the hands of Ursinus.
MOVIN' ON UP.
With the 5-0 start, the Ducks vaulted up the NSCAA National Poll, moving from No. 14 to No. 8.
NOT COLD BREW
Brewster made an impact in her first collegiate start, scoring two goals. For the sophomore, it was the first multi-goal game of her career.
ZISI SCORES
Sophomore
Zisi Komar tallied three more points on Saturday, scoring the second goal of the game off a rebound. Komar made the game-winner happen, as she danced around defenders before finding Brewster who was all alone in front.
SHOOT IT!
The Ducks had no trouble getting shots off against the Violets. The unit fired 28 shots to NYU's seven, led by seven from Komar.
SHUTOUT CITY
Junior
Lindsey Mahnken and sophomore
Madi Chollett each picked up shutout victories last week. Chollett blanked Mount St. Mary 7-0 while Mahnken followed that up with 2-0 clean sheet over Vassar Saturday.
WHAT'S IN A NAME
The Gabby's (Mathelier, Pagkalinawan and Saade) have combined for seven goals and six assists through five games this year.
TOP OF THE E8
Mathelier leads the E8 in both points (11) and goals (5), while senior
Raba Nassif is second in shots per game (4.20) and goals (4).
