POUGHEEPSIE, N.Y. (November 12, 2017) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's fencing team earned victories over Hunter College, the U.S. Military Academy, Yeshiva University, Drew University and the University of the Incarnate Word in the opening dual matches of the 2017-18 season.
- On the individual side, senior captain Ian Fan posted a perfect 11-0 record on the day to pace the Ducks.
- Freshman epee fencer Noah Scott with a 9-4 record, including a 3-0 run against rival Haverford.

It was a long, hard day but we fenced well. We could certainly tell that the work we've been putting in with the strength and conditioning staff has been paying off as we stayed competitive throughout the day.
Stevens will return to action on Monday against New York University.
