STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (November 29, 2017) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's basketball team led wire-to-wire in their 77-67 win over the College of Staten Island on Wednesday night.
Frank Amari earned the game's first points with a layup,
Dylan Walsh drained a three and Stevens never looked back. The Ducks led by as many as 19 midway through the second half.
- Walsh finished with 12 points and eight rebounds, while going 7-8 from the free-throw line. He also had three assists, two steals and a block to his balanced stat line
- Alec DiPieantronio went 4-5 from the floor in the game with seven rebounds and three blocks.
- Stevens had season-high total of nine rejections as a team
- Thomas Cook led the Ducks with 10 rebounds and was just short of a double-double with eight points. He chipped in another two blocks
- Frank Amari led the team with 21 points on 10-14 shooting from the floor

The Dolphins were led by Rudy Lavanture, who scored 15 points in just 16 minutes of work.
"We played well at times but overall we need to become more consistent on both ends of the floor," said head coach
Bobby Hurley. "We do need to credit CSI for how well they competed as it was a battle for 40 minutes."
The Ducks will have the weekend off before returning to action at Brooklyn College on Tuesday, December 5.
