Brianna Perez recorded her first double-double of the season with 41 assists and 10 digs as the Stevens Institute of Technology women's volleyball team fell to Stevenson in four sets (25-20, 25-27, 16-25, 23-25) Saturday afternoon at the Owings Mills Gymnasium.
Junior
Taleen Mitchell delivered 18 kills and 8 digs while classmate
Shelby Stewart chipped in an additional 12 kills and two blocks, as the Ducks fell to 22-9 on the year.
The Mustangs were led by Katie Leftridge who registered a double-double with 24 kills and 24 digs. Stevenson advanced to 20-11 this season.
Volleys and Points
- Leftridge opened the match with a kill for the Mustangs.
- Back-to-back kills from Mitchell and Stewart gave the Ducks their first points of the match.
