Women’s Volleyball Falls to No. 4 Johnson & Wales

HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 5, 2018)  – Freshman Elizabeth Chu registered 20 digs and junior Taleen Mitchell added nine kills and 17 digs, but the Stevens Institute of Technology women's volleyball team fell to No. 4 Johnson & Wales University 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-17) Friday night in a non-conference matchup at Canavan Arena.

Senior Brianna Perez dished out 13 assists and recorded one block for the Ducks, whose 15-match winning streak was ended by the fourth-ranked Wildcats. Johnson & Wales' Kate Walker led all players with 10 kills, while Maria Coniglio led the Wildcats with 15 digs. The Wildcats improve to 18-1 on the year.
