Jess Broad tallied a team-high 17 points and pulled down seven rebounds, but the Stevens Institute of Technology women's basketball team fell to DeSales University 84-56 in the Morgan Stanley Tip-Off Tournament championship game Sunday afternoon at Biller Hall Gymnasium.

Anna Toke and sophomore
Lily Taeuber each added eight points for the Ducks, who fell to 3-1 on the year.
Leandra Sterner led all players with 21 points while Samantha Shinkus chipped in 18 points for the Bulldogs, who improved to a perfect 3-0.
Turning Point
- DeSales closed the second quarter on a 6-0 run, scoring all their points at the foul line.
- The Bulldogs went 23-29 at the charity stripe, ending the game with a free throw percentage of 79.3%.
Inside the Numbers
- Five Bulldogs scored double-digit points.
- Broad and sophomores Christina Li and Sam Winter each hit a three for Stevens.
- Taeuber finished 4-for-5 at the foul line.
- Broad matched DeSales' Morgan Birmelin with a game-high four steals.
- DeSales had a field goal percentage of 50% or more in three of the four quarters.
