• Short Story: The Stevens Institute of Technology women's tennis team concluded the Spring portion of its 2017-18 schedule with an 8-1 setback to Wilkes University Sunday at the Stevens Courts.

How It Happened

• Wilkes claimed each of the first two doubles points to open the day's scoring.
• Freshman Makenna Sargis and junior Jill Hadwen earned Stevens' lone point of the match with an 8-5 triumph at No. 3 doubles. The team finished the season with a 3-4 record in the third doubles slot.
• Wilkes swept each of the six singles flights to wrap up the match. The win was the fifth straight for Wilkes.
