NEW HAVEN, Conn. (September 5, 2018) – Sophomore
Brynn Froehlich recorded two goals and an assist to lead 12 different goal scorers as the Stevens Institute of Technology Field Hockey team defeated Albertus Magnus College 13-0 Wednesday in a non-conference game at Celantano Field.
Seven different players recorded their first collegiate points for the Ducks, who set a single-game record for goals. The previous record of nine was reached on both Oct. 13, 2007 and Oct. 26, 2013 - both against Elmira College. The victory moved Stevens to 2-1 on the year with both wins coming on the road. The Ducks have not finished above .500 in games away from Hoboken since 2013.
Froehlich's five-point afternoon marked a career high. Seniors
Regan Littell and
Hannah Silvestri, sophomores
Skylar Migliaccio,
Jasmine Hoagland,
Anna Cooper,
Jaymie Fiebel and
Allison Buffenbarger and junior

The markers by Buffenbarger, Cooper, Eadie, Fiebel, Gajda and Hoagland, along with Appleby's first-half assist, marked the first career points for each respective player.
