David Lehman registered a team-high 12 kills as the No. 2 Stevens Institute of Technology Men's Volleyball team fell to No. 10 Kean University in three sets (25-22, 25-17, 25-22) Friday in a non-conference match at Harwood Arena.
Senior
Dylan DeBoer added 10 kills for the second straight game, while classmate
Jacob Patterson registered a team-high 18 assists. The Ducks fell to 3-1 on the year.Â
Kamil Garbowski totaled a match-high 15 kills and Ian Capp dished out a match-high 27 assists for Kean, who improved to 6-3 this season. Â
Volleys and Points
- Stevens opened the first set with a 3-2 lead after two attack errors by Kean and a kill from DeBoer.
- The Cougars took a 5-3 lead after the Ducks committed two attack errors and Garbowski set down a pass from Capp.
- Stevens regained the lead after two more errors by the Cougars and another DeBoer kill made the score 12-11.Â
- Kean answered with two Garbowski kills and an ace by Capp to take a 14-12 lead.
