PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (February 24, 2019) — The Stevens Institute of Technology men's fencing team competed against their toughest competition of the season and was unable to emerge victorious at the Temple Invitational on Saturday.
The Ducks fell to the University of Pennsylvania (16-11), Princeton University (20-7), Penn State University (23-4), St. John's University (18-9) and Johns Hopkins University (14-13). Stevens ended the day with an overall record of 31-8.
Epee
- The epee squad registered two wins over Johns Hopkins (5-4) and UPenn (6-3).
- Freshman Andy Faubert led with nine wins while classmate Wolfe Crouse collected seven victories.
Foil
Sabre
- Freshman Vaughn Rice led the sabre squad with four wins on the day.
