Dylan Walsh posted his second career double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Stevens Institute of Technology men's basketball team to a 76-60 victory over King's (Pa.) College Wednesday in a MAC Freedom contest at McGrane Gymnasium.

Spencer Cook had 14 points and classmate
Michael Zignorski came off the bench to add 12 for the Ducks, who improved to 11-3 on the year and 2-1 in MAC Freedom contests.
Brad Kalinowski scored nine points and nabbed a pair of steals for the Monarchs, who fell to 7-7. King's, who did not have a player reach double figures, has dropped four of its last five contests. Tonight's game is believed to be the first meeting between the programs.
With three of his five starters in foul trouble, 12th-year head coach
Bobby Hurley turned to his bench, received 27 points over 97 minutes from seven different players. The 97 minutes accounted for nearly half of the team's minutes during the game and the 27 points off the bench are the third-most for the team this season. Freshman
Brett Bischoping was pressed into a career-high 29 minutes and responded with five points and a career-high six rebounds. Senior
JoJo Mosca matched Cook, Walsh and Zignorski in hitting a pair of threes for the Ducks, who connected on eight triples on the evening.
Walsh finished 4 for 7 from the floor, including 2 for 3 from behind the arc, to hit double digits for the third time this season. The Staten Island, New York native pulled down 12 rebounds on the defensive end and two on the offensive end to match a career high with 14 boards.
Five different players hit double figures for the Ducks, who shot 50 percent from the floor in the first half in building a 17-point lead. The team finished 48.5% for the game, which is the third-highest mark for the team this season. Led by Cook, who finished 6 for 9, and Bischoping, who finished 2 for 3, six players made at least half of their attempts from the floor.

- After junior center Alec DiPietrantonio picked up his fourth foul 68 seconds into the second half, Jake Pawliczak made the first of two free throws to trim Stevens' lead to 14.
- The Ducks responded with six straight points to reclaim a 20-point margin.
- Freshman Matt Crowley sparked the run with a transition layup and graduate student Kevin Florio followed with a steal and a layup of his own. Crowley finished with 12 points and a pair of assists, while Florio hit double digits for the eighth time this season with 13 points, while adding seven boards.
Inside the Numbers
- Stevens held King's to 28.6 percent (20 for 70) shooting from the field, which is the second-lowest mark for the Monarchs this season. The Ducks also held King's to a season-low five three-point baskets.
- Behind Walsh, the Ducks finished with a season-high 51 rebounds, including 12 on the offensive end. Stevens won the battle of the boards 51-39.
- King's out-earned Stevens on the offensive glass 15-12, although it was the Ducks who had the edge in second-chance points, 13-10.
- Eleven of the 12 Ducks that saw the court either scored or pulled down at least one rebound.
- Freshman Jacob Krantz nabbed his first career steal and handed out a career-high three assists.
- DiPietrantonio finished with six rebounds in just 10 minutes.
- The Ducks held a 25-14 edge in fast-break points and a 36-28 advantage in points in the paint.

- "I was pleased with tonight's effort. We face some adversity with guys being in foul trouble, but we responded by getting great contributions off the bench. Offensively, we were pretty balanced and we guarded their shooters and their post players pretty well."
