HOBOKEN, N.J. (May 4, 2021) – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's team won each of the three contested matches en route to a 5-0 victory over Lycoming College Tuesday in a MAC Freedom quarterfinal matchup on the Stevens Tennis Courts.
The victory was the Ducks' third straight at home and moved the team's record to 8-1 on the year. Lycoming ended its season 1-10. Stevens awaits the winner of the FDU-Florham-DeSales matchup in Thursday's semifinal in Hoboken.
"It felt great to get the postseason started today," said head coach
Arik Zeevy. "We played strong, clean doubles, and are excited for a tough semifinal matchup on Thursday."

Audrey Heaberlin opened scoring with an 8-1 victory at No. 1 doubles, earning sixth win as a tandem this season. Sophomore

Gabriella Tantillo collected their third win as a team with an 8-0 victory over Emily Wolfgang and Haley Seebold at second doubles.
The Ducks earned forfeit wins at third doubles, fifth singles and sixth singles to provide the final margin of victory. Excluding the 2019-20 season, Stevens has won at least one match in each of its last six postseason appearances.
