Olivia Schubiger recorded her first career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds as No. 25 Stevens Institute of Technology women's basketball defeated FDU-Florham 88-35 Wednesday night in a MAC Freedom game at the Ferguson Recreation Center.

Sophia Bica led five players in double figures with a career-high 12 points for the Ducks, who won their seventh straight to improve to 8-1 on the year and 3-0 in conference play.
Abigail Rodriguez came off the bench with a game-high 23 points for FDU-Florham, who lost its fifth straight in falling to 0-5 on the year and to 0-3 in the MAC Freedom. The Ducks have won the last nine meetings between the teams.
Schubiger was equally as productive in both halves en route to a career night. The Morristown, New Jersey native scored six points with five rebounds over the first 20 minutes and then four points with five rebounds over the final 20. Schubiger shot an efficient 5 for 11 from the field and also dished out one assist and nabbed one steal.

Isabella Duval (10) also scored in double figures. The double-digit scoring efforts marked new career highs for all five players. As a team, the Ducks made a season-high 38 field goals and matched a season-high with six threes.

Amber Porrett kept a possession alive with an offensive rebound. Broad's basket sparked a 12-0 run that saw four different players score as the Ducks jumped in front for good.
The Ducks held FDU-Florham to single digits in three of the four quarters and recorded an impressive 20-0 run bridging the third and fourth quarters to open as much as a 58-point lead.
Inside the Numbers
- The Ducks recorded exactly six threes for the third time this season.
- Stevens turned 26 FDU turnovers into 34 points. Duval keyed the defensive efforts with a career-best four steals.
- The Ducks dished out 30 assists on 38 baskets. Loffredo handed out a game-high five to lead the efforts.
- Bica recorded two of the Ducks' four blocks.
- Stevens held an impressive 56-29 edge on the boards, including a 26-9 advantage on the offensive glass. The margin in offensive rebounds helped the Ducks gain a 29-11 edge in second-chance points.
