Jack Fyda each had nine kills as No. 5 Stevens Institute of Technology charged to a 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, 25-19) sweep over Misericordia University in a Middle Atlantic Conference matchup at Canavan Arena. It was the team's 11th-straight win.

Louden Moran had 27 assists to help the Ducks improve to 22-3 on the season. Stevens swept their season series with the Cougars and remained undefeated in conference play with a perfect 9-0 record. With the victory, the Ducks have clinched a spot in the MAC Championship tournament.
Misericordia was paced by Billy Murphy who finished with a match-high 10 kills and Kyle Ganoe who had eight kills and a .500 hit percentage. The Cougars dropped to 13-14 on the year and to 4-5 in league play.
The two sides traded blows in the first set and Misericordia held a 12-10 lead at the midway point. The Ducks pulled away late and closed the set on a 5-0 run to take the early lead with a 25-19 win.
The second set started similarly to the first as the two sides traded points and the Cougars remained competitive throughout, holding a 20-19 lead late in the set. Stevens went on another run to close out the second. They won six of the last seven points and Sherman added two kills to put it away and take the set with a 25-21 win.
The Ducks jumped out to a quick 8-3 lead in the third, but Misericordia continued to battle. They scored seven-straight to take a 10-8 lead. After a timeout by head coach
Dan Buehring, Stevens scored four-straight points to regain the lead and then never looked back. They closed out the set with a 25-19 win and took home the sweep.
Up Next: Men's Volleyball hosts Wilkes and Alvernia on Mar. 26 in a conference tri-match at Canavan Arena. Prior to the 5 p.m. contest against the Colonels, the Ducks will honor their senior class.
