HOBOKEN, N.J. (April 6, 2022) – The No. 4 ranked Stevens Institute of Technology Men's Volleyball team defeated Arcadia 3-1 (25-22, 16-25, 25-18, 25-20) in the semi-finals of the Middle Atlantic Conference Tournament at home Wednesday, April 6. The Ducks improved to 27-3 and Arcadia fell to 13-7.
First-year
Koby Sherman led the way for Stevens with a career-high 26 kills and junior
Percy Bickford turned in a solid night as well with 14 kills and six digs.
The first set was competitive as the Knights took a 13-11 lead midway through. The Ducks answered with an 8-2 run to make the score 19-15 and then closed out the set with kills from Bickford, Sherman and junior
Connor Feulner to take the early 1-0 lead.
Arcadia continued to fight and started the second on a 9-3 run and their lead grew to as much as 10 as they tied the match at 1-1 through two. Senior Collin Nissley paced the Knights with 20 kills in the match and senior Quinn Baily contributed 10 kills.
Stevens ended the third set on a 9-4 run and the fourth set on a 12-5 run to take home the 4-1 victory and advance to the final round of the conference tournament.
Feulner finished the day with seven kills for the Ducks and junior
Louden Moran led the team in assists and digs with 47 and 9, respectively.
