NEWTOWN, Pa. (August 20, 2024) – The MAC Freedom released its second preseason coaches' poll of the fall season Tuesday and the Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team took first in the men's soccer preseason poll, the league office announced. The poll was conducted among the conference's eight head coaches.
Stevens totaled 48 points and received six first place votes from the other coaches to claim the top spot for the third straight year. Lebanon Valley, who earned the regular season title last season, came in sixth with 46 total votes and two first place votes. Misericordia (36) and DeSales (31), and FDU-Florham (22) rounded out the top five.

The Ducks once again took the MAC Freedom crown last season and earned themselves a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Stevens then made it out of the first round after taking down WPI in penalties, but then dropped a match to Amherst in the next round. Stevens finished the 2023 season with a 11-3-6 record.
