Boston, Mass. / Philadelphia, Pa. --  Danny Jutras broke his own school record in the 800 meters during a two-meet, two-state Friday for the Stevens Institute of Technology men's track and field team.

At the Boston University-hosted David Hemery Valentine Invitational, Jutras, 364 days after running 1:54.37, clocked in at 1:53.22; he's now more than 1.5 second clear of anyone else in indoor program history AND more than two seconds clear of anyone else in outdoor program history in the event. Marcus Soennichsen joined Jutras on the program leaderboard in the event, running 1:57.29, good for sixth-fastest all-time.

Ryan Paradine added a third update to the all-time leaderboard in the mile run, clocking 4:18.44, slotting him into 3rd in program history.

At the Widener Indoor Classic in Philadelphia, Kane Perry and Cooper Kinsley took part in the shot put; Perry finished 12th, beating more than a half-dozen D-I competitors with a top toss of 13.76 meters.
