Hoboken, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology field hockey team earned a trio of academic honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association over the past week.
On February 11, the Ducks placed 18 student-athletes on the Division III National Academic Squad. The honor recognizes undergraduate student-athletes who achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher through the fall semester and were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches. Representing Stevens were

Emilia Lopes,
Gabi Moroney,

Julianna O'Sheal,
Ava Pelletier,
Kylee Scherer,
Elizabeth Sullivan,
Natalie Ward, and
Lily Wierzbicki. Erdheim, Lopes, Moroney, Neumann, and Sullivan each earned the distinction for the fourth consecutive year.
Seven Ducks were also named NFHCA Scholars of Distinction, an award presented to student-athletes who recorded a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the fall semester. Birns, Brooks, Dinmore, Hughes, Katz, Neumann, and Sullivan earned the honor, with Neumann and Sullivan collecting their fourth straight Scholar of Distinction recognition. In addition, Stevens was named a recipient of the NFHCA Team Academic Award, which is presented to programs that post a team GPA of 3.50 or higher during the fall semester of the academic year.
