ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's track and field team was selected fourth in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Indoor Pre-Championship poll during the annual pre-event vote conducted among the league's 16 head coaches, as announced by the conference office Tuesday
The Ducks amassed 175 points finishing in the midst of a four-pack of teams ranked 3-through-6 separated by just seven points.
Lebanon Valley, the two-time defending conference champions, earned 13 first-place votes and 219 points, well clear of 2023 champion and last year's runner-up, Messiah (193 points). Widener was third with 179 points, just ahead of the Ducks, who earned two more points than Eastern, who in turn finished one point ahead of Misericordia.

Stevens finished seventh at last year's championships, but return
Danny Jutras, All-Conference Third Team in the 800 meters, as well as ¾ of the 4x800 meter relay All-Conference Second Team (Jutras,
Ryan Paradine,
Enrico Parrella), and ¾ of the Distance Medley Relay All-Conference Third Team (Paradine, Parella,
Mick Barbi).
Additionally, since the of indoor season, program all-time Top 10 times/performances have been set in 13 individual events and two relays, including eight events with multiple individuals setting Top 10 marks.
This year's Championships will once again be hosted by Alvernia at the Tom & Helen Flynn Complex Feb. 27 – Feb. 28. The appropriate event links will be posted to StevensDucks.com as they are made available.
