No. 7 Men's Lacrosse Knocked Off By No. 1 Tufts, 18-7

HOBOKEN, N.J. – Facing the No. 1 team in the country and two-time reigning national champion Tufts Jumbos, the No. 7 Stevens Institute of technology men's lacrosse team dropped an 18-7 Sunday matinee from DeBaun Athletic Complex.

How It Happened
Tufts scored the first four goals of the game and 10 of the 11 in the first quarter, with Adam DeCristofaro scoring for the Ducks off a feed from Matthew Pergola.

After 30 total shots (25 on goal) in the first quarter, things slowed slightly in the second, with just 15 of 23 total shots going on-target, and four finding the back of the net. Jack Tenaglia and Blake Creamer answered two early goals from the Jumbos, pulling Stevens (5-2) to within 12-3 at the half.

DeCristofaro completed a hat trick with a pair in the third quarter, and Tenaglia & Pergola each added a man-up goal in the fourth for the Ducks' final goals of the day.
