Men's Track and Field Competes at AARTFC Indoor Championships

New York, N.Y. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's track and field team sent a half-dozen individuals to compete in three events during the first day at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) on Friday.

Brandon Kiefer finished fourth or tied for fourth in each of the four heptathlon events contested (shot put, long jump, 60-meter dash, high jump), setting a season-best in the high jump, clearing 1.78 meters.

Doug Winant ran 7.06 seconds in the 60-meter prelims, just .06 off his PR from December, the second-fastest time in program history.

The distance medley relay team of Enrico Parrella, Christopher Reyes, Markus Soennichsen, and Ryan Paradine finished in 10:24.93, the 9th-fastest time in program history; Paradine has now been part of three of the five-fastest DMR quartets since 2020, Parrella, Reyes, and Soennichsen have each been part of two of the five-fastest since 2020.
