Allentown, Pa. – Cooper Kinsley of the Stevens Institute of Technology men's track & field team placed fifth in the hammer throw during the opening day of the Muhlenberg Invitational on Thursday.

No team score was recorded, and Stevens competed against regional foes Moravian, King's, and DeSales, among others.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Kinsley finished fifth but was third among Division III throwers with a distance of 40.49m. Manny Vega joined Kinsley in the top-10 with a seventh-place throw of 39.87m. Beckham Kashner was 15th with a distance of 31.23m, while Joao Vitor Ferreira (28.90m) and Gabriel Kovach (26.58m) went back-to-back.
