Northborough, Mass. – Five members of the Stevens Institute of Technology women's lacrosse team were named Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Boardwalk Region, as announced by the organization Friday.
Seniors
Stefanie Sellitto and
Lauren Sullivan & sophomore
Alina Friz were named to the First Team; seniors
Eran Gleason and
Maddie Hogan earned Second Team honors.
Recently named All-MAC Freedom First Team and Defender of the Year for an unprecedented fourth straight season, Sullivan adds a fourth straight All-Region First Team selection to her prolific list of accolades. Sullivan concluded her Stevens career earlier this month as the anchor of a defensive unit that allowed fewer than 6.6 goals per game since the start of the 2023 season, with the Bridgewater, N.J. native adding nearly two ground balls, more than one caused turnover, and nearly four draw controls per game this season.
Sellitto three-peats as All-Region First Team after capping a historic career in 2026. Already the all-time leader in draw controls before the start of the season, Sellitto collected 166 more this Spring, breaking her own single-season record first set in 2024, then tied in 2025. She also became just the third player in program history with three 60+ goal seasons, moving into the Top 5 on the career leaderboard as well.
After 13 goals in her final 13 games last season, Friz exploded this season to the tune of 66 goals and 108 points – the 108 points were the second-most in a season in program history & her 42 assists were fourth-most in program history. She was the only Duck to score a goal in every game & became the first player to lead the team in goals AND assists since 2021. For good measure, she also led the team with 29 caused turnovers.
Gleason also three-peats as All-Region Second Team after a 2026 campaign during which, for the third straight season, she increased her ground ball and caused turnovers totals from the previous season despite playing one fewer game than last season. She had multiple ground balls AND caused turnovers in five games, including a 6-GB, 4-CT outing in the regular season finale against MAC Freedom finalist DeSales, followed by a 2-GB, 3-CT MAC Freedom Semifinal performance against Misericordia.
After scoring in every game last season, Hogan nearly matched the feat again this year, scoring in 20 of 21 contests, surpassing 150 career goals and 200 career points in the process. Following her lone game of the season without a goal, Hogan went off, notching seven straight hat tricks, totaling 27 goals, spanning the end of the regular season, the MAC Freedom Tournament, and the NCAA Championships First Round win over St. Joseph's (Maine).
