High School: Graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors … Played under coach Tanner Van Maanen at Ocean View High School where they went undefeated in league play … Also competed in basketball … During the summer played for Quakes Baseball Academy under coach John Elliott … Attended the USA Baseball National Team Championship and the Arizona Fall Classic.

Personal: Son of Heather and Roger Takacs … Majoring in Computer Science … Picked Stevens because of its location right next to New York City, its excellent academic reputation, and the Ducks baseball program … Favorite book and movie are Fahrenheit 451 & Interstellar … Favorite MLB team and player is the Los Angeles Angels and Mike Trout … Enjoys golfing and hanging out with friends.
