Coach Aldins says: Ryan has embraced a leadership role on this team both on and off the field and the staff is excited to see him shine in 2012. Ryan swings a power right handed bat and we expect for him to be a middle-of-the-order type bat for our lineup.

2011: appeared in 33 games and started 31 posting a .216 batting average...led the team in doubles (7)...2^nd on the team in homeruns (3)...tied for 3^rd on the team in RBI’s (21)...4-5 in stolen base attempts...went 1-for-3 with an RBI vs. Kean (2/23)...1-for-3 (2 R, HR, RBI, BB) vs. Mt. St. Mary (2/27)...went 1-for-3 with an RBI vs. McDaniel (3/14)...2-for-4 with an RBI vs. RPI (3/16)...1-for-2 (2 R, HR, 3 RBI, BB, SB) in the second game of a conference doubleheader vs. St. John Fisher (4/2)...went 1-for-3 (R, 2B) in the first game of a conference doubleheader vs. St. John Fisher (4/3)...1-for-2 with 2 RBI in the second game of a conference doubleheader vs. Ithaca (4/9)...went 3-for-5 (2 2B, 3 RBI) vs. Vassar (4/20)...1-for-3 (R, 2B, RBI, HBP) vs. Baruch (4/25)...combined to go 2-for-6 (2 R, 2B, BB) in a conference doubleheader vs. RIT (5/6).

2010: appeared in nine games and started three posting a nifty .417 batting average...also recorded a robust .533 on base percentage...went 1-for-2 recorded his first collegiate hit and start vs. Fitchburg State (3/16)...came in as a pinch hitter and recorded a base hit and scored a run in his only at bat in the 2^nd game of a conference doubleheader vs. St. John Fisher (4/11)...went 2-for-3 (BB, SB) vs. Drew (4/14)...came in as a pinch hitter and hit an RBI double and scored a run vs. FDU-Florham (5/15).

2009: appeared in four games and did not record a hit in his only at-bat.

High School: earned National Honor Society honors…played for coach Carmen Spina at Rutherford…competed for the South Bergen Bullets summer program under coach Matt Ackermann…named captain his senior year…earned 1^st Team All-League honors in the BCSL and was also named Honorable Mention All Bergen County…participated in the Joe Wadlyka Camps…also played football at Rutherford.

Personal: son of Cathie Byrne and Paul Kiczek…majoring in Business & Technology with a concentration in Finance…born 7/18/90…earned a summer internship at UBS Wealth Management specializing in retail trading…favorite aspect of Stevens is its location and career services…top MLB player and team are the New York Mets and David Wright…top book and movie are the Harry Potter Series and Big Lebowski...enjoys investing, lifting, and spending time with his dogs.
