Stevens Institute of Technology Athletics

Jon McCue was named the Assistant Athletic Director for Communication and Events for the Stevens Institute of Technology's intercollegiate athletic department, Director of Athletics Russel Rogers announced in May of 2017. McCue began his career at Castle Point as assistant sports information director from 2009-13 and had been employed at Kean University from 2013-17.

McCue earned both a master's in communication and information studies (MCIS) and bachelor's degree in communication from Rutgers in 2010 and 2008, respectively. He was a five-time letterwinner as a starting pitcher for the Scarlet Knights baseball program and amassed a record of 8-1 before his career was cut short due to injury. He finished his undergraduate degree in 3.5 years, was a five-time Big East Academic All-Star, a Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society member and the 2008 Rutgers Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

He and his wife currently live in Hoboken.
