Stevens Institute of Technology Athletics

Ryan Birkenstock enters his first season with the Stevens Institute of Technology baseball team after competing as a four-year starter in the infield for the Ducks from 2004-07. During his time at Stevens, Birkenstock helped lead the Ducks to a combined record of 89-65, which translates into a .577 winning percentage.

As a player, Birkenstock started in 143 games in his career, while registering a .283 batting average with seven home runs, 104 RBI and 35 stolen bases. He also recorded first-team all-conference honors in 2007, while grabbing second-team all-conference accolades the year before.

Birkenstock is currently a fifth-year senior at Stevens and will be completing his degree this year.
