Coach Taps says: Griffin had a stellar fall, establishing himself as one of our top bats and overall players. He joins us after transferring in for graduate school from NCAA Division III powerhouse and recent National Champion, California Lutheran University. Griff has a chance to be a major impact player for us and the national-level. He will be seeing time at catcher, first base, and possible designated hitter.

2025 (Cal Lutheran, D3): Appeared in 14 games and made 7 starts behind the plate ... Collected two doubles, three runs scored and two RBI ... Drew four walks and was hit by pitch three times ... Posted an on-base percentage of .351 in 30 at-bats ... Caught 7 runners stealing ... Went 3-4 (R, 2 RBI) vs. Cal Tech (2/22).
 
2024 (Cal Lutheran, D3): Appeared in 20 games, making 10 starts … Batted .297 with four doubles, one triple, five runs, and 7 RBI … Worked three walks and was hit by six pitches … 7 for 13 with two doubles, one triple, and five RBI over the four-game span (April 2-April 10).
 
2023 (Cal Lutheran, D3): Was a member of the SCIAC Tournament Championship team … Appeared in 10 games as a catcher … four off his six hits were doubles … Recorded five RBI and two runs scored … Had a fielding percentage of .974 with 36 putouts and two assists … Caught two runners stealing.
