High School: Member of the National Honor Society, Summa Cum Laude, Science National Honor Society, Mu Aplha Theta, and National Technical Honor Society … Played under coach Jake Jones at Leesville Road High School … Was named Academic All-Conference, Cap-7 All-Conference, and Team Most Improved Award … During the summer he played for Rawlings Prospects NC 2020 under coach Zach Boraski … Attended Perfect Game WWBA and Prospect Select Black Bear Classic.

Personal: Son of Jay & Kim Irby … Has one sibling, a sister named Sydney … Majoring in Business & Technology … Picked Stevens because it offered the opportunity to continue a childhood dream, while receiving a top-level education in a prime location … Favorite book and movie is Zeitoun by Dave Eggers & Get Out … Top MLB team and player is the New York Yankees and Thurman Munson … Enjoys working out, hanging out with family and friends … Also enjoys traveling National Parks in his free time.  

Summer Collegiate Baseball: Competed for the Carolina Pirates of the Premier Collegiate League in summer 2021.
