Coach Taps says: Nate had an excellent fall, which culminated in a fine performance in our fall non-traditional season contest at University of Scranton. He grinds out excellent at bats and is a quality defender in the outfield.

High School: Was a member of the National Honor Society ... Received the Seal of Civic Readiness ... Competed for coach Curtis Nobles at Ballston Spa High School ... Hit for a .360 batting average in his senior season and was named Second Team All-League ... Was a team captain in both his junior and senior seasons ... Also was a member of the varsity Golf and Basketball teams ... Played for Drew Signor and the Hayner’s Barnstormers for summer ball.
 
Personal: Son of David and Julie Hill ... Father played football at Union College (N.Y.) and mother played field hockey at Cornell University ... Has an older brother (Andrew) and a younger sister (Sadie) ... Favorite book and movie are Into the Wild and The Notebook ... Favorite MLB team and player are the New York Yankees and Jarren Duran ... Chose Stevens for the combination of strong academics and athletics, as well as his strong recruiting visit to campus and connection to the coaching staff ... Enjoys playing poker, hunting, and fishing in his free time.
