Cara Marcoux will join the Stevens Institute of Technology field hockey program as a volunteer assistant in the fall of 2017. She comes to Castle Point after leading Hackensack High School’s varsity program for two seasons and has been a head coach with the Edge Field Hockey Club for seven years.
On the club side, Marcoux’s charges went to both the National Indoor and National Outdoor tournaments.
Marcoux played collegiately at the University of Connecticut, where she was a four-year starter and was twice named to the All-Big East team. The Huskies made the NCAA Tournament in all four years and made a pair of Sweet 16 appearances, an Elite Eight and a trip to the Final Four.
