Liz Hornberger enters her fourth season as an assistant coach with the Stevens Institute of Technology men's basketball team.
Liz arrives on Castle Point after spending four seasons on the sidelines at Case Western University, where she assisted with perimeter player development in practice, on-campus recruiting and game preparation. In 2014, Hornberger organized the program's team academic partnership with Mary M. Bethune Elementary School in Cleveland.
A four-year standout at Youngstown State, Hornberger finished her career as the program's career leader in three-point field goals and minutes played and is currently ranked fourth and 18th, respectively, while also ranking 10th in career assist-to-turnover ratio.
A native of Reading, Pennsylvania, Hornberger graduated with a degree in criminal justice from Youngstown State in 2014 and earned her J.D. from Case Western in 2017
