Eric Koch

Eric Koch will enter his second season as an assistant coach on the men’s lacrosse program after helping the Stevens’ coaching staff guide the Ducks to a 9-6 overall record and a 5-3 Empire 8 mark in 2010.

Koch was an All-American close defenseman at Washington & Lee University and has a lot of coaching experience since graduating in 2005. Starting as a defensive assistant at Rutgers University, Koch also served as an assistant coach at Mountain Lakes High School in Mountain Lakes, N.J., where he helped guide the Lakers to back-to-back state championships in 2007 and 2008. He would also go on to work and run a number of high-level camps before coming to Hoboken to coach with the Ducks.

Koch will work with the Stevens defense and is another person very familiar with New Jersey lacrosse. “Eric is a guy with a great lacrosse background,” Peluso said. “He spent time at Rutgers and at Mountain Lakes High School as an assistant so he knows the area and is the type of person that will help identify student-athletes that really fit the Stevens profile.”
