Mark Bielicky

Following one of the most prestigious playing careers in program history, Mark Bielicky will join the Stevens Institute of Technology men’s lacrosse staff as a graduate assistant coach for the 2008 campaign. Over the course of his four years in a Ducks’ uniform, Bielicky helped guide the team to an overall mark of 56-15.

Bielicky ended his career ranked first all-time in goals (164) and points (227) at Stevens. He is also tied for fourth place with 63 career assists. A four-time All-Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference selection, Bielicky helped the Ducks to three Knickerbocker Lacrosse Conference titles and three trips to the NCAA Tournament over the course of his four seasons with the team. He was also a four-time first-team all-conference selection.

As a freshman in 2004, Bielicky was named the Knickerbocker Rookie of the Year as he led the Ducks to a conference title and a trip to the national quarterfinals. In 2005, Bielicky was selected as an All-America honorable mention by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association as Stevens reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.

During his junior season, Bielicky was tabbed as a third-team All-American and garnered Knickerbocker Player of the Year honors. The Ducks advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament that season before losing to eventual national champion SUNY Cortland.

Bielicky closed out his career in 2007 by leading Stevens to its first-ever ECAC Metro Championship. Along the way, he was named an All-America honorable mention and competed in the prestigious North-South Classic. Bielicky also surpassed Brian Lalli as the school’s all-time leading scorer in men’s lacrosse.

Bielicky graduated from Stevens in May of 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Business. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in General Management at Stevens.
